Topical issues of co-operation in the consular sphere were discussed

On 21 December 2023, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov met with Director of the Consular Department Agnese Salinja at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed issues of co-operation in the consular sphere between Kazakhstan and Latvia, including the possibility of facilitating mutual travel of citizens and improving the mechanism for providing them with consular and legal assistance.

The parties agreed on the expediency of holding bilateral consular consultations in 2024.
