Meeting with the Ambassador of Hungary to Latvia

On September 29, 2023, the Embassy of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with the new Hungarian Ambassador to Latvia, György Urkuti.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov congratulated the Hungarian colleague on the beginning of official activities in Latvia and wished him success in his work.

During the friendly conversation diplomats exchanged views on the development of Kazakh-Latvian and Hungarian-Latvian relations. The interlocutors noted the high level of partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary in political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as within the framework of international organizations.

The Kazakh diplomat informed the interlocutor about the new economic model of development of Kazakhstan, voiced in the Address of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev "Economic course of Fair Kazakhstan". T. Primbetov paid special attention to the measures on tax incentives for domestic and foreign investors. György Urkuti, for his part, highly appreciated the comprehensive steps of the leadership of Kazakhstan on political and socio-economic modernization of the country.

At the end of the meeting, the diplomats agreed to continue regular contacts through the embassies.
