Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia

On 29 August, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov met with Director of the First Department of Bilateral Relations Katarina Platere at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

During the meeting, the diplomats substantially discussed the whole sector of issues of Kazakh-Latvian relations in light of the upcoming political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as the next meeting of the Kazakh-Latvian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

The Latvian side expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations with Kazakhstan and confirmed interest in further promotion of multifaceted co-operation between the two countries. 

At the end of the meeting it was agreed to actualise contacts within the framework of elaboration of the above-mentioned events.
