The national ice hockey team of Kazakhstan was warmly welcomed in Riga

The national ice hockey team of our country has arrived in Latvia to participate in the 86th Ice Hockey World Championship, which will be held in Riga and Tampere (Finland) from 12 to 28 May.

Near the hotel where the Kazakhstani hockey players were accommodated, they were warmly welcomed by their compatriots living in Latvia, Kazakhstani students studying in Riga, and Embassy staff.

The national team of Kazakhstan will have to play matches with worthy rivals from Norway, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Canada, Slovakia, Slovenia, as well as the hosts of the Championship - the national team of Latvia. The first game will take place on May 13 with the Norwegians.
