About the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia

On October 19, 2022, at the initiative of the Embassy, ​​the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Timur Primbetov met with the Director of the First Department of Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Katarina Platere.

During the conversation, topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, legal, cultural and educational spheres were considered.

Special attention was paid to the development and improvement of the bilateral legal framework.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan informed the high-ranking Latvian diplomat in detail about the implementation of large-scale political and socio-economic reforms in the country under the leadership of the Head of State, as well as about the past and upcoming important foreign policy and domestic events.

Following the meeting, the parties stated the positive dynamics of the development of Kazakh-Latvian relations across the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation.
