About the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia

Riga, April 28, 2022 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Timur Primbetov met with Deputy State Secretary - Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Andzejs Viljamsons.

The parties discussed the state of and prospects for cooperation in the political, trade, economic and cultural fields. Special attention was paid to the preparation of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

During the meeting, T.Primbetov conveyed the proposals to the Agenda for the upcoming political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Latvia, which are scheduled for June 9 this year in the city of Nur-Sultan. The Latvian side confirmed its readiness to come to our country to meet with their Kazakh counterparts.

At the end of the conversation, the parties agreed to maintain working contacts and continue a regular exchange of views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation.
