Discussed issues of cooperation with the Latvian information technology cluster

On 8th of  December this year Ambassador Timur Primbetov met with Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Information Technology Cluster Gatis Oss and Head of International and Export Projects Ira Racina.

T.Primbetov informed the interlocutors in detail about economic reforms in Kazakhstan, new approaches of state planning and national priorities in economic development, including in the field of information technology and green economy.

Special attention was paid to the activities of the International Financial Center of Astana, opportunities for foreign companies to develop their business on the site of the financial center.

Mr. Oss and Mrs. Racina expressed great interest in cooperation with our country.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on holding a Kazakh-Latvian business forum with the participation of representatives of IT companies of the two countries at the beginning of next year.
