The art exhibition «Latvia – Kazakhstan» has opened in Riga

On October 13, 2021, the opening of the art exhibition «Latvia-Kazakhstan» took place in the gallery «BiАrt» of the Baltic International Academy. The exhibition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and is a joint project of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, the A.Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Baltic International Academy.

The main goal of the project is to popularize the fine arts of Kazakhstan, to introduce the viewer to its modern trends and manifestations.

The exhibition presents more than 50 works by 36 famous Kazakhstani artists.

The exposition of the exhibition consists of several sections, including painting, graphics, engraving, art painting on fabric (batik), felt paintings, objects of decorative and applied art.

The works of Kazakhstani artists will be donated to the Baltic International Academy to replenish the exhibition «Artists of Kazakhstan».
