Issues of transit and transport cooperation discussed

Riga, July 30, 2021 - the meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov with the Governor of the Freeport of Riga Ansis Zeltins took place.

During the meeting, the parties confirmed the important role of transport and transit in the development of mutually beneficial Kazakh-Latvian trade and economic cooperation and exchanged views on the current situation in the transit and transport sector.

At the request of Kazakhstani diplomats, the Freeport of Riga will shortly submit comprehensive proposals for the use of the port's infrastructure facilities to strengthen the logistics component in the transit-transport sphere between the two countries.
