Exhibition of children's drawings "The World through the Eyes of Children"

The exhibition of drawings of Kazakh and Latvian children "The World through the Eyes of Children" is a joint project of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Latvia and the Department of Culture of Riga City Council.

The peculiarity of the exhibition is that its main characters are the authors of the drawings themselves - children with disabilities.

The goal of this project is to demonstrate that despite the difficulties, the possibilities for these children are limitless.

The exhibition is timed to coincide with the International Children's Day and the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition features 60 children's drawings, which were kindly provided by the Kazakhstani public charity fund to help children with disabilities "Ayalgan alaqan", the head of which is Rada Khairusheva, as well as the Union „For Latvian Children with Disabilities” (LBAKT).

The exhibition of drawings is available on the website and social networks of the Department of Culture of Riga City Council: https://www.facebook.com/rd.iksd,https://kultura.riga.lv/lv/kultura/galerija/kazahstanas-un-latvijas-bernu-ar-ipasam-vajadzibam-zimejumu-izstade-tiessaiste-pasaule-ar-berna-acim-341,https://kultura.riga.lv/lv/kultura?target=news_item&news_item=bernu-zimejumu-izstade-pasaule-ar-bernu-acim-7267
