Prospects for Kazakh-Latvian cooperation in the fishing industry discussed

On April 23, 2021, a meeting was held with the management of the well-known Latvian company "SIA Mottra", which specializes in the cultivation and processing of high-quality fish products. The meeting took place on the territory of the company, where Kazakhstani diplomats were acquainted with the production process.

"SIA Mottra" has extensive experience in the fishing industry, its own advanced scientific developments and technologies. The company is interested in establishing long-term cooperation with Kazakhstan, in particular in the creation of joint large (industrial complexes) and medium-sized (farms) enterprises for the production of aquaculture using the available natural conditions and infrastructure opportunities of the regions of Kazakhstan.
