Meeting with Latvian journalist Vladimir Reshetov

On February 23, 2021 in the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Latvia took place a meeting with the famous Latvian journalist and publicist Vladimir Reshetov.

In the course of the conversation with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Latvia T.Primbetov there was a detailed exchange of opinions on a wide range of issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Latvia. Prospects for closer and more productive cooperation between the Embassy and the editorial offices of the leading Latvian media organizations were also discussed. V.Reshetov is known in Latvia not only as a journalist, but also as an artist-painter, producer and organizer of international exhibitions, concerts and festivals. The fate and creativity of V.Reshetov were directly related to Kazakhstan. In 1970 he was studying and working in our country. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the meeting with him took place on the eve of the celebration of Gratitude’s Day in Kazakhstan.
