Meeting with the deputy of the Latvian Seima, the head of the Latvian-Kazakh inter-parliamentary cooperation group Uldis Augulis

On February 16, 2021 the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Timur Primbetov held an online meeting with the deputy of the Latvian Saeima, the head of the Latvian-Kazakh inter-parliamentary group on cooperation Mr. Uldis Augulis.

T.Primbetov informed the Latvian deputy in detail about the political reforms in Kazakhstan, initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, informed about the state and prospects for further development of bilateral relations, as well as about the events organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Riga, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Special attention during the conversation was paid to issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation. In particular, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further develop inter-parliamentary dialogue in the spirit of mutual support and partnership, as well as the importance of activating contacts between the Parliaments of the two countries.
