On 10 July 2020, H.E. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held the expanded meeting the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

At that enlarged session, the Head of State announced that afterwards he intends to deliver to the People of Kazakhstan his second State of the Nation Address (SONA).

 

According to the message posted on Twitter by the Press Service of the President, His Excellency highlighted the following:

 

“WE EXAMINED THE MOST IMPORTANT AND PRESSING ISSUES, RELATED TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY DURING THE PANDEMIC. AT THE SAME TIME, WITHIN MY SECOND SONA, I INTEND TO PROPOSE NEW MEASURES THAT WILL GIVE AN IMPETUS TO THE NATIONAL ECONOMY”.
