On suspension of the 72-hour transit visa-free regime

NUR-SULTAN. In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №10 of 27 January 2020, the 72-hour transit visa-free regime for citizens of the People's Republic of China, who transiting via international airports in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda and Taraz cities has been suspended until 1 July 2020. The above-mentioned Decree came into force 27 January 2020.

        This measure was taken in view of the increased risk of diseased and infected persons staying in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to avoid the spread of pneumonia in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
