Information on pneumonia in Kazakhstan

In a number of mass media of the People’s Republic of China, information is spreading that in our country there are facts of infection with unknown pneumonia, even more deadly than coronavirus infection.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially declares that this information DOES NOT CONSISTENCY WITH VALIDITY.

It should be noted that the World Health Organization has introduced into the international classification of diseases (ICD-10) codes for accounting for pneumonia when a coronavirus infection is diagnosed clinically or epidemiologically (for example, a symptom of "frosted glass" of the affected lungs), but not laboratory-confirmed.

Kazakhstan, in this regard, like other countries of the world, keeps records and monitoring of this kind of pneumonia.

Thus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasizes that the reports of the Chinese media DO NOT CONFORMITY.
