The Kazakh delegation continues its participation in the international mining exhibition "PDAC-2023"

Ottawa, March 7, 2023 - As part of the continuation of work at the PDAC-2023 conference, the Kazakh delegation headed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Canada A.Kamaldinov took part in related events aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of MMC.

In particular, at the invitation of the Canadian side, representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the high-tech enterprise “Hydrogen Optimized” to develop an electrolysis system for the further production of “green” hydrogen. During the visit, Kazakhstani participants were familiarized with the technological features of the enterprise and the company's plans. The Canadian “Hydrogen Optimized” expressed interest in establishing cooperation with a Kazakh enterprise implementing a project for the production of “green” hydrogen in the Mangystau region.

Ambassador A.Kamaldinov held a bilateral meeting with the President of the PDAC-2023 exhibition A.Christopher. The parties discussed the successful results of the participation of the Kazakh delegation, as well as prospects for 2024. Ambassador noted that the experience of holding an exhibition of this scale is of great interest to Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh delegation also took part in the Eurasia Mining Conference held by the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Commerce with the active participation of representatives of Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Canada. During the event, it was noted that 2023 was a landmark year for Kazakhstan at the PDAC exhibition. For the first time, the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan was installed and the first Kazakh-Canadian Business Forum was held.

In conclusion, representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan attended the event of Aurora Minerals – “Kazakhstan Day”, which was dedicated to the prospects for the development of the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The participants of the event highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in the mining industry in our country, and also stressed its significant investment potential.
