The national tennis team beat Norway ahead of schedule in 4 matches and secured a place in the final of the World Team Championship.

The decisive victory was brought by Alexander Bublik (Kazakhstan's No.1 player), who met with Casper Ruud (No.8 in world ranking) and beat him 6:4, 5:7, 6:4.

The chronology of the team's advancement was as follows: Ruud's match with Mikhail Kukushkin, which ended in favor of the Norwegian 6:1, 6:4. Then Bublik prevailed over Viktor Durasovic 6:3, 6:2 and leveled the score in the match.
