Oman will take part in “5th World Nomad Games” in Astana

On February 29, 2024, delegation from the Maslikhat of Astana, headed by Chairman E. Kanalimov, visited the Sultanate of Oman in order to study the Omani experience in holding large-scale competitions in the field of equestrian sports, familiarize themselves with the organization of the work of hippodromes and their technical equipment.

The Central Racecourse of Muscat was seen and meeting was held with the Chairman of the Equestrian Federation of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Munzer bin Seif Al Busaidi. The parties exchanged views on the experience of organizing sporting events and discussed prospects for cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish cooperation and exchange visits between the Equestrian Federations of the two countries. Also, the Equestrian Federation of the Sultanate of Oman will take part in the “5th World Nomad Games” planned in Astana from September 8-14, 2024.
