Kazakhstan tourism potential presented for the first time in Oman

On the eve of the opening of a direct flight between Kazakhstan and Oman (Almaty-Muscat) on 26 February 2020 in association with “Kazakh Tourism “ NC “Kazakhstan Tourism Day” was held for the first time in Muscat. Tourism Affairs Adviser of the Sultanate of Oman Adil Al-Busaidi, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department of Almaty city K. Akylbekov, representatives of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kazakhstani and Omani travel companies as well as the mass media participated at the event.
Kazakhstan has become a new discovery for Omani tour operators. Travel companies of the two countries expressed interest in mutual cooperation, ensuring bilateral tourism flows in the future.
During a welcoming speech Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Oman N. Muhametali noticing the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations, and expressed a hope the event would have a positive impact on the intensification of bilateral tourist interaction.
Likewise, during a speech delivered by the Advisor at Minister of Tourism of Oman A. Al-Busaidi was noted that the Omani side is carrying out appropriate measures to facilitate the free-visa regime for citizens of Kazakhstan on a parity basis, which will give an additional impetus to the development of tourism.
