Simplification of the visa regime for citizens of Kazakhstan discussed

On January 13, 2022, H.E. Najmedin Muhametali, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, met with Saud bin Hilali Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat. As part of the expanding bilateral cooperation the parties discussed the issue of simplifying the visa regime for citizens of Kazakhstan. The parties agreed that a positive decision on this issue would not only strengthen relations between the two countries in the field of tourism, but also would create prerequisites for further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

It was also noted that due to the bold and open policy of H.E. Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, the situation in the country quickly stabilized and the daily life of Kazakhstanis returned to normal.
