Kazakhstan and Oman interested in increasing investment cooperation

On June 28, 2021, H.E. Najmedin Muhametali Ambassador of Kazakhstan, met with H.E. Abdulsalam Al Murshidi President of Oman Investment Authority,.

At the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral issues of Kazakh-Omani relations in the economic sphere, as well as prospects for investment cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, Kazakh Ambassador informed Omani side on large-scaled work being carried out in Kazakhstan to improve business climate and support foreign investors.

In turn, the Head of the Omani Investment Fund stressed interest in further development of cooperation with Kazakhstan, including opening of joint ventures, as well as the creation of a joint Kazakh-Omani investment fund.
