Kazakhstan and Oman to deepen inter-parliamentary cooperation

February 24, 2021, H.E. Mr. Najmedin Muhametaliuly, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Oman, met with H.E. Mr.  Khalid bin Hilal al-Ma’awali, Chairman of the Majlis al-Shura, Sultanate of Oman.

The parties discussed current state and prospects of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation. Ambassador briefed Omani side on the political reforms of Kazakhstani President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, and the achievements of the Republic during the years of independence.

In turn, the Speaker of Omani Majilis congratulated Kazakhstan on the occasion of its 30th Anniversary of Independence and expressed confidence in further deepening of relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
