Mexican delegation to participate in the 5th World Nomad Games

A meeting with the Mexican delegation that will participate in the V World Nomad Games in Astana on September 8-13, 2024 was held in the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mexico.

The Mexican team will be visiting Kazakhstan for the first time and will consist of several athletes who will participate in intellectual sports. The team from Mexico will be led by the President of National Federation of Indigenous and Traditional Games and Sports, Ana Collado Garcia.

A musician-instrumentalist virtuoso in playing various traditional instruments of the peoples of Mexico will give a musical welcome from Mexico in the cultural program of the V World Nomad Games.

During the meeting, Ambassador Timur Primbetov, noting the importance of participation in the games of nomads in Astana Mexican team, emphasized that this step contributes to rapprochement and understanding between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Mexico. Kazakh diplomat wished success to the Mexican delegation at the upcoming competitions.

The participants of the meeting thanked the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mexico, the Organizing Committee of the World Nomad Games, the ministries of culture and information, as well as tourism and sports of Kazakhstan for the opportunity to participate in such a large-scale sporting event and sponsorship support.
