Meeting with the head of the “Kazakhstan-Mexico” parliamentary Friendship group

On April 9, 2024, at the invitation of the Mexican side, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov visited the General of the Union of Mexico, where he met with the Chairman of the “Kazakhstan-Mexico” Friendship group, Deputy of the Lower Chamber Jose Miguel de la Cruz Lima. A member of the Friendship group, Deputy Olimpia Tamara Giron Hernandez also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed further plans for the development and strengthening of Kazakh-Mexican inter-parliamentary interaction. Jose Miguel de la Cruz Lima informed about the progress of preparations for the general elections in Mexico, which will take place in June of this year.

The Kazakh diplomat, in turn, wished successful elections and expressed confidence that after the elections of new members of the Congress of the Union, constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation with the “Kazakhstan-Mexico” parliamentary Friendship group will continue.

At the end of the meeting, Mexican deputies conducted a tour of the Congress of the Union.
