Mexican business is showing interest in participating in the Astana International Forum

On April 8, 2024, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mexico Timur Primbetov held negotiations with the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the largest Mexican financial corporation and media holding “Grupo Salinas”, Benjamin Salinas Sada, and the Director for International Relations of “Grupo Salinas”, Miguel Angel Orozco Desa.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mexico in the field of financial and banking services, insurance, telecommunications and energy. It was noted that interaction in these areas will be a significant addition to the already established trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Timur Primbetov informed the management of “Grupo Salinas” about the opportunities for doing business in Kazakhstan and the investment guarantees provided by our Government for foreign inverters and companies. He spoke about the activities of the Astana International Financial Center.

Benjamin Salinas Sada, in turn, noted the significant potential in the development of mutually beneficial relations between Kazakhstan and Mexico.

Special attention was paid to the upcoming Astana International Forum in our country. The management of “Grupo Salinas” expressed great interest in participating in this event, considering it as a priority and important step towards establishing direct business contacts with Kazakh entrepreneurs.
