Meetings with the Ambassadors of Guatemala and Jamaica

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mexico, Timur Primbetov, met with the Ambassadors of Guatemala, Marco Tulio Gustavo Chicas Sosa, and Jamaica, Sharon Saunders.

During the meetings, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral relations. Separate and special attention was paid to interaction within international organizations and the intensification of the negotiation process on the liberalization of the visa regime for citizens of Kazakhstan with Guatemala and Jamaica.

Timur Primbetov informed his colleagues about the political and socio-economic reforms in Kazakhstan, carried out under the leadership of the country’s President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Following the meetings, the parties agreed to continue regular contacts in order to exchange views on issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
