Cooperation with Central American countries

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov met with the ambassadors of Belize, the Republic of Panama and the Republic of Costa Rica to the United Mexican States.

A thorough exchange of views took place on current issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and these states. Particular attention was focused on the liberalization of the visa regime for Kazakh citizens, increasing trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as interaction within international organizations.

The Kazakh diplomat spoke about the political and socio-economic transformations in Kazakhstan, carried out under the leadership of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and also informed about the most important international events upcoming in our country this year - the Astana International Forum and the V World Nomad Games.

During the meetings, an agreement was reached to continue regular contacts between the embassies.
