New York, January 26, 2024 – The Permanent Representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis on the mutual exemption from visa requirements, which provides for the abolition of entry visas for all types of passports for a period of up to 90 calendar days.
The Agreement will enter into force 90 days after the parties receive written notifications through diplomatic channels about the completion of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this document.
Saint Kitts and Nevis has become the 40th country that does not require visas for citizens of Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that visa waiver agreements strengthen the international authority of our country and confirm the high status of the Kazakhstan passport in the world. In practical terms, they are expanding the geography of visa-free travel for citizens of Kazakhstan abroad.
The Kazakh side continues to actively work on visa waiver agreements with other states, including Latin American and the Caribbean countries.
