Meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico

On January 8, 2024, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Timur Primbetov took part in the opening ceremony of the Meeting of the Mexican Ambassadors and Consuls, chaired by the Minister Alicia Barcena.

Alicia Barcena gave a welcoming speech, in which she summed up the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico over the past year, as well as announced priorities and plans for 2024.

As part of the event, Ambassador of Kazakhstan held meetings with the Director General for Africa, Central Asia and Middle East of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico Mr. Jose Octavio Tripp, as well as the Ambassador of Mexico to Türkiye and concurrently to Kazakhstan Mr. Jose Luis Martinez y Hernandez. The diplomats exchanged views on current issues of bilateral Kazakh-Mexican cooperation.
