Address by the President of Kazakhstan introduced for the deputies of Mexico

Mexico City, September 27, 2023 – The “Kazakhstan-Mexico” Friendship Group meeting was held in Mexico City. The Charge d'Affaires Olzhas Issabekov represented the Kazakh side.

The Kazakh diplomat presented to the Mexican legislatures the key messages of the recent Address by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the people of Kazakhstan.

Along with that, the relevant issues of trade, economic, investment, visa regime liberalization were discussed together with aspects of the upcoming inauguration of the Mexican Embassy in Kazakhstan. This meeting served as a productive follow-up of the bilateral conversation held by the Heads of Foreign Offices of Kazakhstan and Mexico on the margins of the UN General Assembly.

As a part to the meeting, a photo exhibition titled “Kazakhstan: a bridge of friendship with Mexico” was inaugurated in the headquarters of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. This exhibition celebrates the upcoming Day of the Republic in Kazakhstan. Due to the friendly and warm relations enjoyed by the Embassy of Kazakhstan and the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, Madam Marcela Guerra Castillo inaugurated this unique exhibition.
