Mexico is an important partner of Kazakhstan in Latin America

Chargé d´Affaires of Kazakhstan in Mexico Olzhas Issabekov met with Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country.

Olzhas Issabekov conveyed congratulations and best wishes on her appointment as a Mexican Foreign Minister from Kazakhstan´s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the most relevant issues of the Kazakh-mexican cooperation. The Kazakh diplomat expressed confidence that the forthcoming opening of the Embassy of Mexico in Astana this year will represent a historic page in the relations of the two countries.
