On the holding of the national referendum in Kazakhstan

Dear citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan,

 

On March 15, 2026, from 07:00 to 20:00 local time, a national referendum will take place.

 

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan residing or staying in Spain will be able to take part in the voting at the following polling stations:

📍 Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Barcelona

08007, Barcelona

 

The following question will be put to the referendum:

 

“Do you approve the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the draft of which was published in the mass media on February 12, 2026?”

 

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan permanently or temporarily residing in Spain who have a valid passport or national identity card may participate in the vote.

 

Every citizen of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of 18 and has the right to vote is entitled to participate in the referendum.

 

On the day of voting, voters must present a valid passport or national identity card of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The referendum is held in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K. Tokayev, dated February 11, 2026.
