Kazakhstan and Moldova discussed issues of cooperation in the field of defense

Chisinau, March, 12, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Almat Aidarbekov met with Mr. Anatolie Nosatîi, Minister of Defense of Moldova.

The Minister spoke about the priorities of the Ministry, the main aspects of the European course of Moldova, the goals of reforming the National Army, as well as strengthening cooperation with international partners and organizations.

The Ambassador provided information about the main provisions of the constitutional, political and economic reforms in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Defense was also informed with the interview of the Head of State given to the newspaper «Egemen Qazaqstan» on January 3, 2023.

In addition, the sides discussed the exchange of experience in the field of participation in peacekeeping missions, they also noted the potential for bilateral cooperation.
