A meeting was held with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova

Chisinau, March 5, 2024 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Almat Aidarbekov met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova H.E. Carolina Perebinos.

During the conversation, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan congratulated the Secretary of State on her appointment to an important position, as well as on the traditional holiday of the meeting of spring in Moldova – Mărțișor.

A constructive exchange of views took place on the current issues and prospects of Kazakh-Moldovan economic relations and noted the positive dynamics across the entire spectrum of interaction. At the same time, the Ambassador acquainted with the main provisions of the ongoing constitutional, political and economic reforms in Kazakhstan.

In turn, the Secretary of State described the transformations are currently being carried out in the context of the country's integration into the European Union. She paid special attention to the holding Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Astana this year.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue efforts to expand cooperation and agreed to maintain working contacts.
