Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Moldova

Chisinau, February, 19, 2024 – Kazakh Ambassador Mr. Almaty Aidarbekov met with newly appointed Deputy Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament Mrs. Doina Gherman.

Ambassador congratulated Mrs. Doina Gherman on her appointment and expressed his regards of succes in her endevours.

In turn, the Vice Speaker thanked for the congratulations and noted the high level of Kazakh-Moldovan relations. She also stressed, in particular, the importance of interaction on the inter-parliamentary track. During the conversation, Mrs. Doina Gherman also briefed on the main aspects of the negotiation process on Moldova's accession to the European Union.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat explained the latest developments in the socio-political and economic development of our country. He emphasized the new tasks set by the Head of State during the expanded meeting of the new Government on February 7.

At the end of the meeting the parties confirmed their mutual interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation across the entire range of its areas.
