A meeting was held at the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova

Chisinau, February 8, 2024 – Kazakh Ambassador to Moldova Mr. Almat Aidarbekov met with the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Igor Grosu.

During the conversation, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed about the current political situation in Kazakhstan in the context of updating the composition of the government and the ongoing socio-economic reforms in the country as outlined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan during an extended meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Speaker of the Parliament was also familiarized with the main aspects of the interview of the Head of State given to the Egemen Qazaqstan newspaper on January 3 of this year.

In turn, In turn, Mr.Grosu has expressed interest in the reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan and expressed his support. He also outlined the ongoing processes of adaption Moldovan legislation to the standards of the European Union within the framework of the negotiation process for accession.

The Chairman of the Parliament expressed the interest in relativization across the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, especially between the legislation branches.
