Kazakhstan and Moldova discussed issues of cooperation in the field of agriculture

Chisinau, February, 06, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almat Aidarbekov met with Mr. Vladimir Bolea, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova, Сo-chairman of the Kazakh-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the current activities and prospects for further development of the Ministry accountable to him.

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation, including in the field of agriculture. At the same time, the interlocutors expressed their readiness to cooperate in the management of water resources, water supply, sanitation and irrigation, as well as seed production.

The issues of preparation for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Astana were also discussed.

In addition, the sides noted the significant potential for further deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas.
