Event dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan was held in Chisinau

Chisinau, December 15, 2023 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan jointly with the National Library and the National Archival Agency of Moldova organized a cultural and educational event dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by members of Parliament, representatives of government agencies, business and academic circles, and the media.

Kazakh Ambassador Almat Aidarbekov, who delivered a welcoming speech, briefed the participants of the event on the historical significance of Independence Day, as well as the achievements of our country in political and socio-economic development over the past years.

Director of the National Library Ms. Elena Pintelei and the staff of this institution introduced the guests to a number of documents stored in the national archives of Moldova, narrating about certain stages of the history of Kazakh-Moldovan relations.

As part of this event, representatives of the local community were able to visit a photo exhibition, which presented the most interesting and picturesque corners of Kazakhstan's nature.

The participants of the event also got acquainted with a wide collection of Kazakh classical and modern literature, books on the history, art and culture of our country, donated to the National Library of Moldova.
