Prospects for establishing direct flights between Kazakhstan and Moldova were discussed

Chisinau, October 12, 2023 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almat Aidarbekov met with the Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Moldova Vasile Saramet.

During the meeting the possibilities of establishing direct flights between Kazakhstan and Moldova were discussed, taking into account the increasing activity of the business circles of the two countries. The sides expressed mutual readiness to assist in preparing appropriate proposals for the next meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission, scheduled to be held in 2024 in Astana.

An exchange of views also took place on the possibility of Moldova joining the Kazakh initiative to establish the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC).

At the end of the meeting Ambassador Aidarbekov conveyed an invitation from the Kazakh Aviation Administration to participate in the regional workshop «Global Reporting Format for the Runway Surface Conditions - ICAO GRF» on November 28-29, 2023 in Almaty.
