Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova
On April 20th, 2023, in Chisinau Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov had a meeting with Deputy Prime minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Nicu Popescu.
During the talks, a wide range of bilateral cooperation, interaction within European Union issues were discussed. The parties exchanged views on development of situation in the region.
The Kazakh diplomat informed about the political, democratic and constitutional reforms, taking place in Kazakhstan, economic priorities and perspectives of partnership with EU nations, among which Moldova is given great importance.
N.Popescu praised the political transformations in Kazakhstan and expressed his readiness to develop mutually beneficial relations in different spheres and in the framework of European integration.
The parties paid special attention to projects to be realized in particular in modernization of railway infrastructure, establishing mutual deliveries of goods within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) being developed as well as projects in agricultural sector, logistics, education and digitalization.
