The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine organized negotiations between the leadership of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan and that of the Cherkasy region of Ukraine in videoconference format. The online meeting was also attended by representatives of Cherkasy business.

A comprehensive conversation took place concerning further deepening of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the regions of the two countries.

Akim of Kostanay region Archimed Mukhambetov acquainted Ukrainian partners with the economic and investment potential of the region and shared his vision of building new business contacts between the countries.

Head of the Cherkasy state administration Roman Bodnar informed about the economic opportunities of the Cherkasy region, the institutional instruments for business support created in the region and expressed his readiness to assist in the implementation of joint business projects.

In turn, business representatives made a number of specific proposals for the development of interregional cooperation. In this connection, an agreement was reached to summarize the proposals of enterprises of the two countries and provide comprehensive assistance to cooperative interaction.
