The Embassy published the “Words of Edification” by Abay Kunanbaev in Ukrainian

This year marks a significant event in the cultural and social life of Kazakhstan - the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet, thinker, enlightener, founder of Kazakh national written literature Abay Kunanbaev. Abay’s legacy is a priceless treasure.

Like Shevchenko for Ukraine, Shakespeare for England, Abay for Kazakhstan is more than a poet, he is the greatest personality in the history of the country.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine published the “Book of Words” (“Words of Edification”) by Abay Kunanbaev in Ukrainian.

An official presentation of the book will take place in the nearest future with the participation of academia, the expert community of Ukraine, the Kazakh diaspora and the media.
