Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine met with mayor of Kyiv

On April 30 this year Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev met with mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

“I greet the Ambassador of my second Motherland - Kazakhstan! Welcome to Kyiv,” – started the mayor of the Ukrainian capital. He warmly recalled his childhood spent in Kazakhstan, emphasizing that the endless steppes, the majestic Tiаn Shan mountains and the hospitality of the Kazakh people will forever remain in his heart.

Klitschko informed about the economic potential of Kyiv and encouraged the Kazakhstan business to more active trade and investment cooperation. He assured that he will provide the necessary assistance in the implementation of joint projects.

In turn, D. Kaletaev spoke about the investment climate in Kazakhstan, the opportunities of the Astana International Financial Center, as well as the tourism potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He proposed to carry out a number of economic, cultural and humanitarian projects as part of the "twin-city" relations between the two capitals - Nur-Sultan and Kyiv.

In addition, the parties exchanged experience in combating the spread of COVID-19 and measures to support the public and entrepreneurs.
