Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine met with leader of the Batkivshchyna political party

On April 16, 2020, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletayev met with leader of the Batkivshchyna political party Yulia Tymoshenko.

During the conversation, issues of the state and prospects of development of Kazakh-Ukrainian cooperation were discussed. The parties confirmed their interest in enhancing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. In this context, the need was noted to restore close cooperative ties in various sectors of the economy, as well as the development of international transport corridors.

Yulia Tymoshenko praised Kazakhstan’s measures to combat coronavirus and support the social and economic well-being of the population, of small and medium-sized businesses. This, in her opinion, was made possible in many respects due to the wise policy of Elbasy, who created a stable foundation for the country's economic development.
