A documentary film «Elbasy. The Chronicle of Independence» was shown in Kyiv

On December, 1the Embassy of Kazakhstan, in honor of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized a screening of the first series of the documentary film «Elbasy. Chronicle of Independence», produced by the Agency «Khabar».

The sсreening was attended by representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, Kazakh business, international organizations, diplomats, Ukrainian friends of Kazakhstan.

Before the screening the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletayev congratulated those present and noted the role of Elbasy on the path of gainingindependence and in achieving recognition of Kazakhstan in the world.

In total, the film consists of 15 episodes, chronologically describing everything that has happened in the country from 1991 to the present day.

The first episode is called «At the Bend of History» and tells the audience about 1991, when the country faced the beginning of great changes - gaining independence and building a strong and united sovereign Kazakhstan. The fate of the country after gaining independence is inextricably connected with the personality of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The screening took place at the Kazakhstani cinema «Kinopark», which opened in Kyiv.
