Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Head of the Kiev Regional State Administration

On September 29, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Ukraine Darkhan Kaletayev held a meeting with a Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Vasilyy Volodyn.

 D.Kaletayev informed the head of the Kyiv region about socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, bilateral Kazakh-Ukrainian relations, mutual trade. He offered to organize a visit of a delegation fromthe Akmola region to promotedevelopment of bilateral ties and to sign an Agreement on cooperation between these two regions.

V.Volodyn spoke about the socio-economic development of the Kyiv region, large investment potential of the region, the possibilities of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the fields of energy, mechanical engineering, tourism, agriculture, etc. He informed about the Agreement on cooperation between the Kyiv region of Ukraine and the Almaty region signed in 2005 Kazakhstan. Taking into account modern realities, he proposed to update this agreement. The head of the Kyiv region supported the proposal for cooperation withthe Akmola region and expressed his readiness to meet the Kazakh delegation at any convenient time.
