A meeting of the Chairman of the Committee took place in Kyiv Civil Aviation MIID RK with the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine

The Kazakhstani delegation headed by Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Lastayev held a meeting with Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of international transportations, transport, air traffic, and infrastructure development.

Particular attention was paid to the need of further improvement of the Trans-Caspian international transport route, which serves as a "bridge" between Europe and Asia. In this context, the parties agreed to organize consultations between the railway administrations of the two countries for a more detailed discussion of the prospects for cooperation in this area.

In addition, the parties positively noted the resumption of regular flights between Kazakhstan and Ukraine. In this connection, an agreement was reached by the end of the year to hold negotiations at the level of aviation authorities in order to discuss the further development of regular aviation communication between the two states.
