The staff of the Embassy traditionally congratulated our compatriot, veteran of the Great Patriotic War Amanzholov Nurbay Bazarkulovich on the 76th anniversary of the Victory!

The veteran was presented with memorable gifts, and was wished to maintain sound health, good spirits and inexhaustible energy.

Nurbay Bazarkulovich thanked from the bottom of his heart for the congratulations and stressed that he appreciated the attention and care of his historical homeland - the Republic of Kazakhstan. He shared his memories of his life path, in which the “pages” of the Great Patriotic War occupy a special place.

Amanzholov went to the front as an 18-year-old from the Katon-Karagai region of the East Kazakhstan region. Participated in the liberation of Ukraine and Poland, crossed the Oder and ended the war in Prague. After that he served in the Carpathian military district. He retired with the rank of colonel.

Awarded with the Order of the Red Star of the Patriotic War, 1st class, Bohdan Khmelnitsky, 1st class, and 26 medals.
