Kazakhstan and Ukraine continue to enhance economic cooperation

On March 31, 2021, at the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine, a round table was held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of Kazakh and Ukrainian businesses.

Opening the event, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev emphasized the high potential for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and invited the business of the two countries to more active interaction. For his part, the President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Chizhikov confirmed his readiness to provide all kinds of assistance in this direction.

The roundtable participants exchanged views on possible ways to intensify Kazakh-Ukrainian cooperation. In particular, a large Kazakhstani agrobusinessman N. Meshcherekov informed about the potential for the development of the agricultural industry in Kazakhstan and made a number of proposals for the implementation of bilateral projects in this area.

Director for Eurasia of the international company "Whiteshield Partners" E. Zharkeshov reported on the new approaches used in Kazakhstan to combine the efforts of business and the state to overcome common problems in the economy.

Representatives of Korkem Telecom and IT Space shared their experience of introducing new digital solutions in Kazakhstan in the field of preventing traffic violations, as well as ensuring high-quality dispatching of emergency services.

In turn, Ukrainian businessmen showed high interest in the implementation of joint business projects in various industries and offered their services to ensure the competent entry of Kazakhstani business into the Ukrainian market.
